That Legendary Wooden Lion formed in 2007 but it's roots go way way back into the 70s. The Original Wooden Lion played the free festivals from Windsor to Watchfield as well as many other free performances in parks around East London. Lead singer Roy Weard went on to sing with Dogwatch and Roy Weard and Last Post. In 2005 he met up with the bands original synth player the Cardinal Biggles and they decided to form a new band. Thyey were joined by Steve Bensusan from the Lasp Post, bassist Chris Cottage and drummer Chris Mott.

They are recording anew album and playing shows around the UK.
